4 Days Masai Mara -Lake Naivasha Adventure Camping Safari

Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi -Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, we pick you up from your hotel at 07:00AM at t 07:30hrs, we depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley view point to view the Escarpment. Descend the escarpment and drive to Narok-town where you will stop for lunch. After lunch proceed to Masai Mara arriving in good time for game drive en-route to your self-contain camp/

Masai Mara is famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests. Game viewing in the afternoon is guaranteed.

Dinner and overnight at Mara springs Camp (Full board Accommodation)

The Masai Mara is Kenya’s arguably the most famous reserve. It’s smooth grass carpeted hills and plains dotted with flat topped acacia trees are full of rich faunal diversity, fulfilling the expectations of any visitor searching the African landscape for the BIG 5. Located west of the Great Rift Valley, Mara is a natural extension of the Serengeti plains in the neighboring Tanzania. The Mara River, the reserve’s backbone traverses north to south. This course is the natural barrier crossed each year by large migratory heard of wildebeest and zebra which march across the two parks in search of pasture, crossing en route, the crocodile infested Mara River. Coupled with ever watchful predatory cats in the midst, the annual migration is a risky affair and fraught with peril. Morning and evening game drives through the Mara reserve gives you a chance of spotting a diverse array of wildlife including elephants, giraffe, black rhino, cheetah, gazelle, buffalo, hippo, various other herbivores and bird species.

Day 2 Masai mara Full Day

A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich savannah grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found here in the Mara.

Day 3 Masai Mara -Lake Naivasha National park

Early morning breakfast followed by game drive en route to Lake Naivasha. Arriving late in the afternoon. Afternoon leisure with the option of exploring this lake by taking a boat ride to Crescent Island for a negotiable fee at the crescent you will see some animals like giraffes hippos etc,

Dinner and overnight at Taphe Guest Resort.

Day 4 Naivasha Hell’s Gate National Park -Nairobi

On this day, drive to the Hell’s Gate national park famous for its natural geysers, star rock towers and geothermal steam that make it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. This park was named for its pair of massive red tinged cliffs framing a geothermic active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. This is the only park where you can walk or cycle through as you view animals. Later, we leave for Nairobi where the safari ends

5 Days Sweet waters-Lake Nakuru-Amboseli National Park

Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi – Sweet waters Conversation

Breakfast at 0730, depart by 0800 for Sweetwaters, we drive we drive north into plush Kikuyu farmlands watching the landscape alternate from rolling green hills to never ending plains. Brief rest halt at Nanyuki Equator Point. Arrive at Sweetwaters at 1130. Check in. time at leisure, after Lunch afternoon game drive , visit the chimp sanctuary and Morani, the tame rhino. The Sanctuary is home to the endangered Chimpanzee species, many are babies and orphans rescued from Central African countries where the trade in bush meat (meat from chimps killed by illegal forest loggers and sold to unsuspecting customers). Dinner and overnight stay at Sports arm hotel.

Day 2 Sweet waters Conversation-Lake Nakuru National Park

We shall leave the Sweetwaters in the morning after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru through Thompson’s fall, we will stop here for view minutes to have a look at the falls and take some great photo’s before proceeding to Nakuru. Remember lunch will be served on our way to Nakuru. Lake Nakuru, is often referred to as the pink lake for it’s great masses of pink flamingos and the home of the white and black rhinos and about 350 different species of birds; the ornithological paradise. Dinner and overnight stay at Lannet matfam resort.

Day 3 Lake Nakuru National Park – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, morning game drive later dive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi for lunch. After lunch proceed with your journey driving through the magnificent scenery and herds of wild animals toAmboseli National Park . The park lies at the base of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro and is renowned for its large population of huge red/elephants. Amboseli is in the centre of Masai land

Dinner and overnight stay at -Kibo Safari Camp (B, L, D)

Day 4 Amboseli National Park Full Day

After breakfast, proceed for a morning game viewing drive. Return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, it’s at leisure or further evening game drive in search of herds of elephants, plains game and the several bird species that are resident in this park.

Day 5 Amboseli National Park -Nairobi

An early morning game drive come back for breakfast then depart Amboseli with game drive en route back we drop you to Nairobi

Day 4 Masai Mara -Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning breakfast followed by game drive en route to Lake nakuru- a soda lake. Famously lake nakuru attracts vast numbers of fabulously colored pink flamingos to its shallow waters. arriving late in the evening .hippo, various animals, black rhinos, giraffe, lion, leopards and a profusion of birds are also present at the lake.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru National Park- Lake Naivasha National Park

After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in the rhino sanctuary which is home to a colony of about 25 white and black rhinos. Predators are also resident in the park. later, we leave for lake naivasha. The afternoon is at your leisure with the option of exploring this lake by taking a boat ride to Crescent Island for a negotiable fee (the guides at the lake will let you know about the price).

Day 6 Lake Naivasha ( Hell’s Gate ) – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast proceed to hells gate park, hell’s gate national park famous for its natural geysers, star rock towers and geothermal steam that make it one of the most atmospheric parks in africa. this park was named for its pair of massive red tinged cliffs framing a geothermic active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. Later leave Naivasha for amboseli arriving late in the evening.

Dfter breakfast, proceed for a morning game viewing drive. Return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, it’s at leisure or further evening game drive in search of herds of elephants, plains game and the several bird species that are resident in this park.

Day 8 Amboseli National Park -Tsavo West National Park

Early morning game drives return to your camp for breakfast, after breakfast leave amboseli for tsavo west game en route totsavo west check in and have lunch. in the afternoon, visit the rhino sanctuary and return to the lodge where there is usually a leopard trap and if you are lucky you will see it.

Day 9 Tsavo west National Park -Tsavo East National Park

Early morning breakfast game drive with a visit to mzima springs later on depart tsavo west for tsavo east which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions game en route to the camp, tsavo east. Check in and have lunch. in the afternoon, another game drives at the park later dinner and overnight at the camp
Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill lodge / or similar (full board accommodation)

Day 10 Tsavo East National Park -Nairobi

Early morning game drive return to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast check out of the park then drive you to Nairobi at hotel of your choice
